# Priority Gas Tip

Learn about Gas Settings to optimize your Trojan on Solana trades, balancing cost with speed based on your needs.

## The Basics

**Priority gas tips help determine how quickly your transaction is confirmed**. Our presets are optimized based on onchain activity, or you can choose to set your own custom tip.

Choose from the following selections to adjust your gas settings:

* **Fast:** .0015 SOL per transaction
* **Turbo:** .0075 SOL per transaction
* **Custom:** Set your own tip

A gas priority fee is **paid to the network to prioritize your transaction** and results in the fastest execution onchain.

### Sell Priority Fee Override:&#x20;

Sets a **gas fee specifically for your sell transactions**. Using this override, your sell orders will apply this fee instead of the primary setting.
