# Trading on the Bot

Trojan on Solana makes trading as easy as you'd like, but also offers robust tools.

You may have seen that some tokens on the network are natively paired against USD1 or USDC instead of SOL.

Trojan supports these pairs, and trades can be routed through those pools.

However, trades on Trojan are still executed and settled onchain in SOL, which is required for both the swap itself and network fees.&#x20;

In simple terms: the token may be primarily paired with USD1 or USDC, but you still need SOL in your wallet to actually place the trade.
