# DCA Orders

Ladder in. Ladder out. Spread your trades out over time with this order strategy.

DCA or Dollar-Cost Average is an advanced method to scale in or scale out of a token.

### DCA Buy

1. Click on **Buy** from the Main Menu or simply enter a CA at any time.
2. Make sure your green check mark is on **DCA.** The active wallet for this DCA Buy is indicated. Use the gear icon to switch wallets or configure a bundle.
3. Select amount to buy or set custom. This is the **total** spread across all purchases if both an Interval and Duration are entered. **Or it will be the amount per purchase if Duration is left blank.**
4. Confirm your slippage setting.
5. Set the **Interval** in minutes, hours, or days, and the **Duration** (m, h, d).
6. **Min Price** and **Max Price** define the range within which you want the buys to execute. These range settings are optional. **To clear entries type "none."**
7. Once the necessary parameters are set, click **Create Order**.

If **Duration** is left blank, the Trojan on Solana bot will continue with the DCA Buys until the selected wallet is exhausted.

You can view, edit, or cancel active DCA orders in the **Main Menu** by clicking on **DCA Orders**.

### DCA Sell

1. Click on **Sell** from the Main Menu and choose the token OR select a token from the Positions page.
2. Make sure your green check mark is on **DCA.**
3. Select % to sell or set custom. **This will be the total spread across all sells if both an Interval and Duration are entered. Or it will be the amount per sell if Duration is left blank.**
4. Confirm your slippage setting.
5. Set the **Interval** in minutes, hours, or days, and the **Duration** (m, h, d).
6. **Min Price** and **Max Price** define the range within which you want the sells to be executed. These range settings are optional. **To clear entries type "none".**
7. Once the necessary parameters are set, click **Create Order**.
